It started with a job application that never got a reply.

When our founder arrived in America, one of the first things he did was apply for a job at McDonald's. He never heard back. Not a no — just silence. He wasn't unqualified, unwilling, or unavailable. He simply disappeared into a pile of applications, like millions of frontline workers do every year.
